    Bumper update

I've been slowly working at the rear bumper as I had the time. Its just about done now.

All it needs is a final blocking out, maybe some spot filler putty, and it will be done.

looked better when it was flat black. Obviously it needs paint, but II hope you paint that lower center part flat black and the rest silver.

    but that's just me.

The whole thing will be painted Lachs, then masked off, and the diffuser will be painted with SEM satin black.

I like that piece a lot. is it just body filler and epoxy and fiberglass holding all those different pieces together or what? looks pretty well made. how rigid is it?

It is all plastic, and it is fused/bonded together. All fiberglass backed and renforced. Its quite ridgid once it is on the car. Very little plastic filler was actually used. Only enough to smooth out the waves in the back stripe above the diffuser, and to fill the seam where the apron met the bumper.

You know, at first, I thought that rear bumper was fugly.

But now, damn... it's coming together VERY nicely... props to some very clean bodywork.
