    DIY is lip painting

    ive been searching for a DIY for "iS" lip spoiler painting. cant find one. anyone have one? i generally just need to know what i need and the stages of grits sandpaper i need

    Is this for a trunk or front valance?

    Really it's exactly the same as any paint on any car, some people like to use more flex on the front to fight rock chips.

    I tend to use 600 for primer, wetsand base coats with 600 then move up to wet 1000 for final color/clear, you can keep on going if you want it to be really nice, but 1000 is usually sufficient for a non show car.

        Is it already painted? To remove the paint, SEM makes a product that's called Bumper Paint Remover or something like that. It's for removing paint off of rubber. Works wonders.

          i already sanded it down, primed it , painted it, and clear coated it.

            It really depends on how nice you want it, and how cottege cheese ass the paint looks when you're done spraying ;)
