e36 M3 rear apron/bumper 99.5% complete, back on the car

I finished sanding the bumper this afternoon, finish sand with 600grit on the primer. Its basicly ready for paint now.

Those of you that have been following the progress will no doubt see just how far its came, so I need not mention that :).

Overall I am VERY happy with the end result. It fits and looks great, and it is strong!

I found out just how strong this afternoon. The ziptie holding it to the stand snapped, and it fell 4 feet to the concrete floor. It landed on the apron then flipped over backwards onto the top face of the bumper.

No cracks or anything :) just a couple tiny scratches that took 30seconds to sand out.

    Solid

anyways, for the pictures I tried to wet the bumper to give it a shine, but the water dried too fast.

Every time I think you've done something totally amazing to your car, you one-up yourself.

Looks great, I can't believe how well that has worked out.

When is that bodykit going in for painting mang?

On a more serious note, its modern but fits the lines of the E30 much better than the AV3.

The whole car should be repainted by the end of June. What bodykit are you talking about Ryan?

That one on your E30. Isn't just a cheap knockoff of the AV3 kit?

I think that still having a real bumper is what makes it look that much better. The one peice kit is too modern for the E30. The bumpers and the lip help break up the boxyness of the car, I also like the Mtec2 wing on that car.

Who'd you get that through Jordan? Seidl? Lowen Design?

very well done. you certainly know what your doing.

This might have been explained before, but i am just curious why originally you had the reiger kit? I know you and the rest of us are happy its gone in place of the one-off mod.
