    Question about plastic bumpers

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...44&hg=51&fg=15

Im using Real Oem for reference getting my plastic front bumper on.

But I have a question, are there supposed to be any bolts or expanding rivets(#2) that hold the plastic bumper to the bumper core support(trim panel)? I know there are there are those flat clips that it sort of clips into and the clips/brackets on the ends to keep the ends from flaring out. But my bumper cover and bumper core support panel are seperated and I dont want the bumper cover coming off if I hit a bump.

Also does the front trim snap on? That and part #2 are the only parts that I have not yet purchased.

    Any help is appreciated,

Yea, you need like 6-7 of those little #2 push rivets. They only go on the front between the blinkers. The trim does just snap on as well.

I needed 8, and had bought 6. Some of them were still usable I just had to drive the pin back on two and then re push it through.
