    Locking euro ellips

How do you stabalize the low beam adjuster? I know the 3-pronged black piece has to be involved but I can't figure it out. Looks like this, far left: http://photos.imageevent.com/rstewar...einstalled.jpg
Also, I've read this before, and previously searched for it but can't remember, does the "smiley" actually serve a purpose?

i don't know how you lock the low bean adjustors as my ellips are different.

but i do know the smiley helps shine a little bit on the light right out in front...say level with a trunk of a car in front of you.

That asshole need to clean his engine bay.

You shouldnt have to lock that screw, its pretty tight in that plastic bushing and wont move. There is, however, a black thing on the right that has the metal ball that goes into the socet that the lense pivots on. It serves as the cam. I has to be locked in with that warped washer installed. This black thing is also in the base of the adjusters, they go through it.

This was an issue that a guy on BFC had, it will take all your might but that HAS to snap in place. I had to wrap it in a towel and use my whole hand.

        I can't see the image.

But on another note, I installed mine last weekend...what did you guys do about the plastic panel that separates the headlights from the engine bay? Mine totally don't fit anymore because the projector sticks back so far.

Yes, you need a euro cover plate instead of the US one because only the Euros are the sealed ones (the seal on US ellips is provided in the bulb).

That is why in the pics of the back of my setup (posted above) isnt covered, Ihavetn cared enough.

I was only able to get the passenger side one on, but just with one screw. I'll probably order some of the panels, it bothers me that any additional heat from the engine might screw things up...plus it looks nicer.

P.S. I'm lovin' the city light, it's nails.
