So, I haven’t posted in a while cause my car hasn’t been worth talking about. In march was rear-ended by some hick in a dodge pickup. The polesmoker gave me fraud insurance info. I was clearly up a creek. I hammer an dollied out about 45% of the damage but the trunk still leaked and made me reek like exhaust fumes and a bad catalytic converter which naturally made my girl upset. The car was a grade B hoopty. But that’s not the end of the sad sack tale. The insurance fairy visited me Wednesday and granted my damn wish. I got a free ride save the $250 deductible, an $1800 bill gone, my rates won’t go up, my car is going to come back better that ever, a brand new clear coat, and I get brand new Durango to play in while my bimmer is in the shop! I guess you can only know how much of a confidence boost it is to get your car fixed up if you have to.
