    Rear diving board removal?

Ok, how the hell do I remove the rear diving board off of my 88?

    Thanks...

Remove the shrouds, there are bolts under the car that hold the bumper shocks to the car.

Ok, the passenger side one looks easy enough to get to, but does the driver side require taking off the muffler heat shield?

It does not require taking that off, but having the muffler there makes it harder to do. Are you talking about the 2 13mm nuts on the back side of the car holding the shocks to the body?

IIRC there is a 3rd bolt that holds the shock to the frame under the heat shied. But i can't remember if i had to loosen the heat sheild to get to the bolt when i took the DB bumper off of my 85.

Ok, so i've removed both of the driver side 13mm shock bolts, and one from the passenger, but how the hell do i get the other passenger side bolt off? I really can't see how to get to it, it looks like the rear valance covers it... Frustrating indeed.

It's in the trunk where the battery is.

Oh thats a bitch... Well thanks for the help, and the bumpers (JGood.) From the amount of dirt/grease under there it just looked like a patch welded in. Thanks again.:-)
