    Corbeau Seats?

how are they in terms of quality and durability? ive been looking at the CR1($399/piece) and TargaRS ($320/piece), both have a advertised shipping weight of 27lbs. i'm still researching my options and if anyone knows seats similar in looks, but better in some way please chime in. the recaro srd is out of my price range, but i'm not going to buy cheap seats at the expense of durability.

I have the Corbeau Forza for about 2-3 months and so far the seat has been awsome.

      No complaints at all.

The TRS looks like it's made for taller people, I was looking into getting those.
you can only buy them in pairs though, unless the distributor breaks them up

I had a Forza in my car last year. I was a pretty cool seat but the quality of the Corbeau line isnt the best. Check out Cobra seats, Recaro's arent cheap but I love mine, and it was worth the money to me. Good luck

I've got the TRS' in my car. They'll keep you in place. One thing to point out is that the bolsters along the back are a little narrow; instead of being hugged by them, you are being touched. Other than that, great seat for the price.

Keep in mind that I haven't experienced any other seat models.

I recently installed the Forza. I like it alot, although it lowered me much more than I'm used to for daily driving. Nice and snug, fit well, and isn't all that uncomfortable for daily use.

I had the CR1's in my car, now sitting in my living room because i sold the car. Had I kept it, i would have had the seats in forever. I liked 'em.

that's true..... the Forza does make you feel like a midget, even if you're 6ft plus.

I figured it was just a step closer to lowering the center of gravity

David325is has the Corbeau TRS's. They def. hold you in snug when you're on it.

Heh, maybe. I was kind of holding them for a local enthusiast after he can recuperate after the cost of a M52 swap. Or until i get another E30.

In the meantime my 1yr old likes to climb on them.

I have 2 regular E30 seats and 2 beat up sports in my backyard patio. Best seats in the house.

Do the Forza seats lower the line of sight too much? How far ahead of the hood can one see with the Forza's?

The Forza's lower you but I'm comfortable with the line of sight, and I'm 5'8". Can't tell you how much I lost when I installed it though. I'm guessing that I'm about as low as I'd be with my helmet on during track sessions.
