AFAIK all 325ix cars have the lower rear arch meaning you need the plastic bumpers.Im now E30less.

They didnt have Euro metal bumpers but the US aluminum ones. I can only speak of US ones, once you leave the North American market things can and always do change.
And yes, you should be able to mount the late model international bumpers.Im now E30less.
