    88+ side molding on an 84-87?

    OK I did my shadowline, including painting the chrome part of the side molding. In a hail storm, it all got messed up so I have to redo it

    I was thinking. since my car is black, and the 88-91 molding is just black rubber, can I just swap that on there so I don't have to repaint mine? will it fit?

    It'll fit, I know because my 88 had a couple of painted over chrome ones on it when I bought the car.
