    Do they make a tape for shadow line? Like the 3m chip protector, but black

    I am considering blacking out my trim, any thoughts? Thanks

    Use paint, not tape.

            I couldn't ever get black paint to stick to the chrome trim... even with a lot of scuffing.

              that seems to be a common thing w/ most ppl I talk too. That and the chrome side trim...

                I got paint to stick to the old chrome bumpers just fine. But I wondered if there was something easier.

                    Trim tape has worked for fine on mine, knock on wood. I put the stuff on about 6 months ago an it has held up fine. Make sure you clean the surfaces really really well before installing them. It took two rolls of the stuf from Autozone, Chrome to black or something like was the name of it. I figure some OEMs use similar stuff so might as well give it a try. Just wondering how long it will hold before it fades.
