Yes it can be done, I would show you on my car but I'm visiting family on the otherside of the country right now. It is not very hard at all, and looks amazing in my opinion. I comes its two pieces and you have to trim a bit from the centre and each end, but if done correctly looks killer. There is another car around here that I've seen, black with gold centered wheels, that has it done, just search - i think you should be able to find a pic.

p.s. no valence mod except drilling holes to mount it.

I thought about this, I might try it on my car with diving boards. My buddy has a vr6 lip kicking around.

Pics PLEASE!!! I need a lip for my car and I think I would rather do this than the is lip.
I just called VW they are toothless hooker cheap!! 2 pieces and $25 a piece!! I'm thinking the is lip can go fuck itself at that price!

Here you go. I think I have a spare 8V Jetta lip somewhere in my shop. Gonna try it out on my Is soon.

^^ looks pretty good. How hard would it be to fiberglass/bondo the two pieces together?

Don't want to sound stupid but what year is a jetta mk3 vr6 lip.
I'd do the mod at $50 duckets total cost.,compared to the whopping $180 for an IS lip

I think I might actually try this out.

I have an early model fat lip with brake ducts I was going to use that looks really similiar though. Might as well use the early lip almost.

The lip on the E30 is actually a euro Mk.3 VR6 lip, it's deeper than the us version. All of the us spec lips are the same regardless of engine, which is the same as the one in the jetta pic.
