WIll a wax and buff take out minor imperfections?

I just got a good wash today, and I realized how many small scuffs and crusted on grime there is. Would a pro detail where they wax and buff it take out alot of these flaws?

claybar would likely do a better job of getting grime out.

Clay bar works great!! Actually Wax only protects the finish. You should Clay, Polish then wax. Polish(no not the nationality) is what does the trick after Clay bar. I use Mothers system of cleaning/waxing of the car.

buffing takes out scratches... waxing protects the clear coat, and clay bar get dirt and crap off of the surface

only way to take smooth out light scratches is with a orbital buffer. All other hand techniques just clean your paint.
