Calling all convertible owners!!!

I need to replace my convertible tensioner straps because the top does not fold properly. Is it possible to replace the straps without interfering with the top itself?

Well, it can be done, it's just a bitch, that's all.

I believe you should be able to but might have to pull some of the fabric to remove the pin that holds the tensioner and then glue it back on.
I used some 3M contact adhesive in spray when I installed my top and it holds very well.
It is a black can i believe, not sure what the ref number is though.
