    Any suggestions for 89 325i?

I'm 17 and about a month ago i bought my first car, an alpine white '89 325i. Cosmetically and mechanically the car is in excellent condition. I'm just wondering if anyone has any CHEAP suggestions as to what i could do to make it look even better. I am running on a low budget so nothin too fancy. thanks.

So you're looking for purely cosmetic mods?

    How much can you spend?

You could paint all the chrome window trim. Thats a $10 mod. Also, lowering an e30 is one of the best looking mods but thaat will be up around $300 for a used setup.

Its actually already had a little bit of mechanical improvement. its got a 2.7L stroker motor with aftermarket cam. the guy before me put in the larger s50 fuel injectors. This is making it run real rich tho, so i'm thinking about either a larger air intake or replacing them with the stock injectors. exhaust system is relatively new. so i think i'm okay for now with the engine so i want to do a little bit of cosmetic work. Actually what i really want to fix first is that the right sealed beam headlight lens is cracked so i am looking to replacing my front lighting configuration. Any ideas for this. i've seen those agel eye things they look cool. Also i want a rear spoiler. I like the raised M3 style ones. I have an is rear deck lip spoiler that i could install but i don't like it all that much.

Well you can buy a new sealed beam for less than $10. Or you can pick up a set of ellipsoids for about 150-200. In my opinion, angel eyes look rediculous on an e30 (I've had them).
The OEM M3 spoiler wont fit your turnklid, but you can get one that looks like it for 100-200 bucks.

clear turn signals, and euro trim. I think these two, (especially the front euro trim) makes the car look so much better.

Those will be one of my first of many mods, it should be boxed up and on its way to Canadia.

yea i know the real m3 spoiler won't fit but does anyone know where i can get the cheapest look-alike?

also, anyone have pics of ellipsoids on at night and also any pics of the eurotrim?

lastly, do those eyelid things look good in person? A few pics i've seen look nice.

it should already have ellipsoids, mine is a 89 325i. Maybe try and get your hands on some M3 Springs and shadowline the chrome trim around your windows.

Get Euro grilles rather than eyebrow pieces....

Euro trim removes the sidemarkers from your plastic bumper pieces. It is around $110 from the dealer for all four pieces needed.

Wheels always help, but don't skimp out on those. Try getting euro headlights. Smoked headlights (as shown in the above link) are nice, but expensive.

does that trim just look better in black than in chrome? i'm open to the idea but sorta skeptical. anyone have any pics of this done on a white e30?

There has probably been a thread regarding just about anything you can imagine doing to an e30. Try using the search feature, you'll probably find everyting you're looking for.
