This product won't come perfect as a baby's bottom, you do have to block it prior to shooting it with primer/paint.
I am in no way "slamming" his product I am stating my opinion about the product I received from filip. I even stated earlier that I bought from him because I heard he had a great reputation. I also earlier said that i was surprised to see these imperfections on my part. I'm not sure how that qualifies as an attack on his product. Obviously I do not expect perfection from his product. I work in the custom fabrication field, although with metal not fibreglass, and understand that when something is made custom by hand perfection is not attainable. I do however expect more than what I received from him, air bubbles in the gel coat is not something you can simply "block out" before painting it.

This picture shows the two large air bubbles to the right of the exhaust cut-out, the larger one is about the size of a quarter while the smaller one is nickel sized.

Here you can see another large air bubble on the top corner above the exhaust cut-out. Will not be as noticable as the other two once installed but still a concern to me.

Here is the lower corner I am talking about where the gel coat has actually chipped off.

There are also another 3-4 small air bubbles less than the size of a dime all around the exhaust cut-out. I could not get them to show in a photograph but they are noticable in person.

I apologize for the poor quality of the photos but i took about 50 pictures of the problem areas and this was the best I could get them to come out.

For better fitment aren't these made for early cars with plastic bumper swap though ?

Actually it looks pretty good IMO. Not everything is a direct bolt on. People are always looking for the easy way out. Trim up the stock valence and when you have a light custom exhuast built, move the tip over a bit.........Looks WAY, WAY better than stock.

I had a couple of these "bubbles" on mine, I sanded them smooth. There were a couple of "nicks", I used plastic putty. This is bodywork after all, not just a simple bolt-on. If you are not up to the task, go to a shop and pay someone to do it right.

I dont know about the valence, maybe though. The tow hook cover does need to be cut out. I dont mind, I think it was like 225-250 shipped. this was a while ago. I forgot at this point

Interested in buying a rear apron add on for my car, but not sure if this is the one to go with! TIA!
