Time to share..... look what $12 can do for your E30

Not sure if anyone has done this before. But it's an awesome alternative for a budget lip.

I just purchase a VOLVO early 90's lip from the salvage yard( Yes a VOLVO - i believe it's a 750). Mount it upside down and trim the ends.
And an hour later............................
RESULTS .................................

















Easy DIY stuff. It's a bit dirty and scuff but it fits right. Now that it fits. It's time to look for a piece in better condition:o...For the price time to stock up.....so wouldn't feel like crap if i ran into another parking lot curb.

If it was painted to match the car I think it would look even better than the iS lip. I like the sharp edges.

Yup... i think that's the one... all i know is - it's the early 90's model.
You'll know it when you see it..... remember it looks like an upside down IS lip.

How's the car? Yeah i was walking through ecology when i notice this piece. They do have 1 or 2 other but i don't think it's worth it, it's too much scuff and dents on those. Just wait a while i know they get this car a lot at the yard. Don't you have an ecology in North County?
get one you won't regret it. I think it's made of better material that the IS lip and i think it also sits a little lower. Now all i need is a spliter and a rear apron.
Cutting is minimal and could be done in 1-2 hours.
