This is one good thread and that volvo lip is giving the e30s quite look. People are showing the finished products which look great, but does anybody have the pics and the steps for this DIY.

Thats is the reason why i installed mine. How many other lip can you install and still smile after hitting a curb like that? It works just as good on dips:D

^Same here, especially since I live in the hills of SF. it doesn't look that bad from that angle in the pic but it was completely twisted. was amazed at how flexible it is. even the zip ties didn't break

mounted mine up a couple weeks ago, love it so far. Can't beat the price, thats for sure.

how are you guys dealing with the flair at the wheel well
heat gun ?
i gave it a shot but it really didnt come out like i wanted

I used black zip ties to pull the corners in verticle so it dosn't flare out so wide.

how far back from the edge did you put them are they noticeable ?

I put them from 1" in of the ends of the lip to the chassis, once I put my fog lights back in you will not be able to see them at all.

You can kind of see them in this pic, if you look though the brake ducts.
