do the kidneys for AC have a bigger openings. on mine there is a block off on the upper 1/3 of the opening like the plastic that blocks off on the euro style grill. for my ac to correctly work should i get the specific ac style ones. my ac is out of juice anyways but when i fix it will it make a difference

Yes there were different a/c and non-a/c versions made .
Also there are a bunch of aftermarket versions out there that in my experience are all the non-a/c style .
If your kidneys are three different pieces taken apart them they are OE most likely but if they are one piece they are the low quality aftermarket versions .
