Ok I'm working on regasketing my whole 84 633csi engine and can't decide what type paint to use where.
The block is clean and will be painted with some 1200F Black Engine Paint, the oi filter assembly will be painted the same.
Now I can't decide weather I want to paint the Valve cover and intake manifold with the same paint, or Paint them with a glossier Black engine paint.

The Engine block and Valve cover have the glossy paint, and the Exhuast manifolds have the Black High temp Paint.
I like the look of the Plain black over the glossy which is why I'm using it for the block. But I like the Contrast of the sanded raised sections with the glossy paint, and I'm unsure if the sanded raised sections will stand out as much with the darker paint.
Plus the darker(hightemp) has a much smoother appearence to it when done so I'm leaning that way.
any opinions?
