    hood and fenders question...

found a junkyard that is asking 50$ for a hood and 27$ for front fenders.. is that a good asking price in good shape? i really don't know what they go for etc. also how much do used decent shape doors go for? preferably without the insides but either way doesn't matter.

also how complicated is it to remove the fenders or doors? the hood is cake but i haven't had much experience removing the doors or fenders.

sorry if they are noob questions but search didnt come up with many answers.

Go ahead and buy them. You'll spend more than that on fuel while trying to save a few dollars.

Yeah, that's a few bucks less than my local yards usually get so I'd go for it.

Both the doors and fenders are very easy to remove. I had a hell of a time figuring out the doors at first, but felt like a total dunce once I did (IE picked up the Bentley manual). If you don't have a Bentley, post up and someone can give you a full rundown.

definitely more than fair prices on the hood + fender.

Doors aren't exactly hot sellers, it's hard to say what they 'normally' sell for, but I'd say $50-100 is an average range for a complete door.

I've got some clean doors if you need them-cheap- I'm only about 10-15 minutes off I-95 in NC, swing by some time on your way from Savannah or Orlando to DC or vice-versa......... ;) Don't really want to try to ship them, and it's not gonna be cheap even if I did.

to get the fender off you have to take the wheel off to get to the wheel well liner bolts, unscrew those, and under those are the fender bolts

in other words its not too hard granted you can get your wheel(s) off
