    chrome in a can idea....

    So I have been toying with the idea of painting just the midsection of my tailights chrome. I think it would look good with the diving boards. I was going to repaint my headlight rings to match. I'm only talking about that recessed part in the middle of the tailight.

    I'm going to vote no. First they don't make a "chrome paint that looks like chrome. And that areas only looks good sometimes painted black along with a plate filler to match the black.

      Not a good idea. Chrome paint just doesn't work. A bumper tuck/euro bumpers would be a much more worthwhile investment.
