    Vert top sap removal

Anyone have any tips or procedures for removing sap from a vert top?

I would start by using hot water and a soft bristled brush to soften the sap and then move to a product like autosol that you can buy on Bav Auto. Just go slowly and don't use anything harsh...the water resistance of the top can be compromised pretty easily.

I was thinking a toothbrush and some undiluted car wash soap, I use meguires, some pink shit, bu some hot water to get it softened up sounds like a good idea. I guess I'm lucky it's all in one place like 2"x2."

You can probably gently scrape off some of the larger chunks first, too.

It worked very well, I used hot water worked in with a toothbrush, then used a terry cloth rag with some undiluted carwash to dab on, hot water, dabbing, most of it came off easily. Then I scrubbed it in a bit with the toothbrush working from the edges inward. Then I washed as usual and now I can't see anything.
