    grille idea?

    i was wondering if anyone has done or seen someone do a grille with no kidneys in it...kinda like a bonrath grille for the mk2 vdubs....also has anyone done the 2 headlight conversion like they do in the mk2's also....thank you

      I've seen it. I did not like it but it was creative and took some time to do it correctly. It was a EU car, might be found on www.e30.de

                  The "no kidney grill" thing has been done. It's ass ugly, but its been done. There was a pic up here a while ago?

                      The kidneys are part of what makes the front end of an E30.

                      You lose the kidneys, you lose the BMW.

                              The Kidney grill means BMW.

                              I do not really like the blacked out ones really, the best looking one I have yet seen is Lukas'.

                                      Kidneys make it LOOK like a BMW. Without them, the front of the car looks stupid. I've seen it done, and it looked like shit.

                                      When I'm coming down the road at a car, I want them to see those kidney grilles, and know it's a BMW.
