    Body color impact strips

I've been thinking of painting the impact strips of my 91 318i body color (brilliant red). Does anyone have any photos of similar E30s with this done. Particularly one, with stock basketweaves (I found sometimes cosmetic mods look good on a car only because it has nice wheels), and black rocker panels.

    Thanks

I guess no one has a picture. Has anyone seen this done? Was it an improvement? I thick it would make the car look more modern and go well with the plastic bumpers, but I've never seen it done. Opinions?

Leave them black. I've seen body colored ones and they look like crap.

Your all talking about the bumper strips right? or everything including the door trim. I was actually thinking about filling in my bumpers so it would like a bit like ryan's silver m3. But Im just not sure it would really look right.

nop, don't do it. You need the black for contrast.

By removing the bumper trim and by filling the gap left?

i liked it on my old car. maybe cos the black wheels balanced out the contrast though.
