87 Is airdamn on an 88 car?

Well I picked up my 1987 325is Parts car today and Am thinking about sticking the IS front Airdamn on my 1988 325is with the latter diving boards. For now a Plastic bumper swap it out of the question. I have no Lip spoiler so I was thinking of sticking the early IS one on.
    What do you guys think?

The Airdamn it self is in great shape, the white paint on it is all chipped but I'd need to paint it anyways to stick on my car. I think I'm going to go for it. I like the look of the 88 up IS lip spoiler but don't like the idea that it can fly off very easily and get run over.

But you have diving boards, that's wat it's supposed to fit on.

                    so do 88s.

I've seen it in person on an 88. They are alright I guess. I'd much rather stick with the stock valance and an iS lip
