    what would it cost to get this fix... any guesses

    the only spot on my car that has rust is a 1.5"x1.5" spot on rear valance under the bettery tray... has anyone gotten this area repaired... and what did it cost you.. im gonna try and find a pic in a minute.. if i cant find one i will post one tomorrow... my camera is at work

      50-75...you talking about getting it done body color, or having them redo the black lowers?

        Sheez... that's a cheap fix right there. Get a patch welded in there and do the paint yourself, you won't even touch three digits. :)

          basically i just want the rust gone.. having them paint it probably wouldnt add much i dont think so i might as well have em do it

            I've got the same thing

            I've got the same thing, except on the corner. Even the amount of rust. If you want to do it yourself, POR-15 has products that will do the trick. I just went and got an estimate from a highly recommended body shop that specialized in BMWs and they quoted me $250. I'm going to get another quote this weekend probably.

              A good sand blasting, then clean with a good solvent and slap some nice etch primer on there, a layer of urethane and then some black body.
              If you've got the tools, that's an hours worth of work.
