The seller I got mine from. The frame is bad ass. If you get the airmail it gets here in like a week. I was nervous (the guy's english is, um, yeah), but it turned out fine in the end. It was about 29 for the plate and the frame.

I just received my plates from them yesterday. Though (as a test) I ordered a quality used Euro plates, I got mine in 8 days. I will admit that I was a little nervous when I called to track the order and no one EVER picks up the phone! But, I got my stuff. I am going to try ordering a custom plate this time. You can't beat their 19.99 custom price, as some want 39-49.99 without the bracket.

I paid FIVE dollars for mine from a Volkswagen meet. Try going to garage sales, with volkswagens in their driveways, chances are they will have old german plates laid out on the tables.

Although I got lucky, mine already said '30' on the end, and it was easy to clean.
Old volkswagen owners are the best to purchase off from if you aren't so picky about what it says up front.

I have one I'll sell you for 15 bucks. It's just a random german tag.

I wonder if you put the same Number on the euro plate, as your normal plate, would they get as pissy. Probably.

If your state requires a front plate, it's illegal to put a German one in place of it. In some towns, cops can be real assholes [like mine] in other towns, they could care less.
