help mounting a 325es spoiler on a 318i

I bought a 325es (86?) front spoiler for my 318i (84) and have gotten it painted and it's finally ready to be installed. I'm gonna need help though! Of course the bracket that came with it was all broken.. that seems to be how most of them are. We have a 325is in the garage right now (not mine), and the spoiler on that has been put on with sheetrock screws going up into the bumper. It is terribly tacky! I really want to avoid that. What is the best way to get that thing mounted?

Courtesy Fred Kim, this is how it mounts on 86-87 valences. As you probably know, the brackets are NLA. But this can give you an idea of how to rig it up.
