    removing Mtech 2 body kit

I am wanting to take off all Mtech 2 parts off this 4 dr 325i. I can figure out the bumpers but the outside door panels and the side skirts.
Do the door panels have a bolt on the inside of the door??

There is a plastic nut towards the back of the door. They come off just like standard door trim.

Sorry to thread jack (consider it a bump!), but E30groupie, are you running Style 5 rims? (on the car in your sig?)

Not in the sig no, they are BBS RS's, see thread below. The bronze ones I have on now are style 5's, seen in the same thread.

okay, there is a bolt on the edge of the door on the two door model, so I assume there is probably the same bolt on the 4 door (on each door). remove the bolt first. They are also attached all across the bottom on the door with clips (similar to the headlight grill ones). Then they snap in the same way the normal e30 door strips are attached. pm me if you want to give me a call. I just removed a set from a two door.

I am definately putting the bumpers on my car and taking them off when I go back to the states. ok So I know I am at a loss with the skirts but the bumpers will look nice.

Check out the installation manual in the diy. might be helpful.
