You have to drill holes for the clips in the rockers. I'll see if I can find the article with a template

There is a lot of holes, when i took mine off I was supprised there were so many. I would be weary to install a set on a car that wasnt equiped with them from the factory.

If you do it, make sure you absoloutly paint all the bare metal in the holes, or you will have a nasty supprise when you remove the skirts.

Please do, as I have brand new set I bought from the dealer that just got painted and I need to install them. A template and article would be of much help.

            Thanks!

I just installed mine. They have been painted for almost a year now. I was just being lazy aslo. Plus I was hesitant to drill holes into the car (even though I work at a body shop).

Me 5, I have Hartge side skirts and I really don't want to drill holes in my car.

What, like secure both ends and then a bunch of tape down the middle?

I used 3m tape on the top section where rivet mounts should be and used the factory mouting clips for the bottom. No problems

Not a bad idea, and something I was thinking of doing also. How long as it been since you did this? I am somewhat concerned of the longevity of the adhesive and possibly losing a sideskirt one day.

DO NOT put them on with adhesive only. You will lose one that way. Use at least half the mounting points. And thats still lazy.

That was my plan-use the locking clamps on the bottom of the rockers, and then adhesive along the upper portion. IF I had the instructions and the template, I would most certainly go that route-but if I can't get those, I would rather not drill holes with only a 'guesstimate' to go by.

E30_fiend...you found those instructions and template yet?
