Need an Opinion

Alright the last thread was a disaster, try to get what Im looking for this time, which is opinions on what I can do to make it better. We may not get along but lets put that aside and concentrate on the cars. BTW that I was never a member at maxbimmer.com nor did i ever post what ever you supposedly quoted me on. Unless of course you were refering to someone else. But just to make this clear I was never a member there. But that doesnt really matter.

I saw a few people say that Shadowline was it window trim would look better. I have some on my Donor Car should I try it out? My bright work is pretty nasty. Kinda scratched in a few places. and it keeps popping off the driver side A pillar. I just dont know My uncle has all black wheels that we tried out for fun one time and it looked well just not right. I dont know about this. I guess i could mock it up with some black tape to get a general idea of the look. I always thought the Bright Work brought out the Blue more. But Im slightly color blind so what do i know.

your post is really choppy, Im not exactly sure what you are asking.

Are you wanting to shadowline? If so try and remove your old trim and sand off the clearcoat (which has most likely oxidized by now) all the way down the the bare metal. Then prime it with a good metal primer, wont take much, just make sure its all covered. Then get a thin matte color paint. Spray would work really well as long as you didnt stop so the nozzle wouldnt get dingleberrys.
