What are the 2 circles in the side skirts? any way to shave them if done over again?
On a e36 you remove those plugs, and insert the rod of the factory jack into the unibody to jack. I could have shaved them, but I like letting people know (smart people) its a OEM part.

Is it the lighting or is the infinity lip a shade or two off from the rest of the body?
It's just the lighting, its called the sky.

What did you use to fill the door mouldings and trim?
Door moldings were plated and welded, then plastic filler was used to smooth.
Bumper trim was fiberglass backed, and plastic filler was used to shave. You can get away with alot of plastic filler on plastic parts because it bonds well, and changes shape/size with temperature alot like the plastic around it.

is there any advantage over filled US trim rather than euro trim (asthetically, besides cost?)
Well since I have plastic bumpers on a early car I would have to chop up brand new euro trim. Seems a waste to me. Shaving the US trim only took me ~2hrs.
