    Interesting lighting problem

    Well today, i was installing my headlights and what not, got em all installed, they work great.

    during the course of the day, my front left turn signal went out (as indicated by the wild blinking)

    before it went out i had done this mod a long time ago

    using the electrical tape method.

    so i installed the new bulb, and immediately placed electrical tape over the contact, without ever running the bulb with both contacts touching.

    Now, when i left turn, both bulbs blink wildly, as if one is out, yet both are in!! and blinking!!

    what the hell?

    i think it may have something to do with the electrical tape.. kinda weird.. any ideas? all my fuses are fine.

    I just went and played with the light bulb a bit, and it stopped doing it..

    This happened once before, i hope it doesn't come back.. if it does.. i'll be scratching my head.

      pull the bulb out, rotate 180*, and put it back in.

      if you reverse the polarity on the bulb it will blink faster. Don't know why, but it just does.
