    87 325is front valence issue

It was pitch black and as I was backing out of a parking spot, one of the little metal poles that sticks out of the cement stop at the end of a parking spot snagged the underside of my bumper. Now the right side of my bumper sort of hands down as seen in this pic:

Obviously something came loose or broke, but my question is.....where? And would it be easy to fix/replace? Thanks in advance.

get under there and look around. chances are you broke one of the mounts. and good luck finding another one. the dealers stopped carrying them and they are super rare in junk yards. my advice is to get under there and use some zip ties or make some custom brackets and yank that bastard back up.

Now I'm terriblt frightened after seeing the lifted to semi height of that Excursion in the background. How can the person that owns the vehicle afford to put fuel in it? Never mind that does he use a rope ladder or step ladder to climb into it?

That can't be safe. Oh do you live in the Vacaville area? I saw something similar to that monster about 3 months ago on the highway that goes to Reno.

I am having 3 brackets machined to make mine fit. They have them already drawn up on the computer, and they are either going to machine them out of aluminum or make some new plastic ones like the stock ones. My valence was the 'is' one I believe although mine is just a standard "325". If you want, I can have them make more too. Just tell me how many you want, and I can get you an estimate on how much they will be. I am getting mine REALLLLLLY friggin cheap. Only $50 for 3 of them. But... If you wanted some it might cost some more.
