H1/H4's are a cheap alternative to crappy sealed beams, but pale in comparison to euro ellips.

I'd like to back Jordan up here. H4's are an awesome step up from sealed, plus when you factor in the price. They go great when paired with some Osram Silverstars.

However, you can't beat euro ellips, from what people say. They're just more pricey.

i'm running some cheap autopal h1/h4 enclosures off of ebay (got em 45$)

wanted a cheap upgrade from my sealed beams. I actually bought a set from Dan Gillan first, but due to some fedex mixups (including damage to the headlights) i ended up buying the new ones off of ebay.

So far theyre great! i run osrams in the low's and whatever autopal gave me for the h1's in the hi's. So far i love them! had em for a bout a month and the difference is badass!

personally, if you plan to get ellips in the future, i'd say go with the 45$ autopal's off of ebay. you really can't beat it. 45$ for two h1 assemblies, two h4 assemblies, with bulbs in both.. Plus they have city light bulbs as well..

          i love em :)
