I've got an '87 325is in Delphin Gray and the cleacoat is fading/GONE on most of the hood, roof, and trunklid. Body is fairly straight with the exception of a few door dings on the fenders. It looks to have a dealer installed body package that in addition to the factory 'is' front spoiler, adds a Breyton M3 type rear wing, a matching rear apron, and black rubber/urethane side skirts along the sides.
Here's my dillema:
I really dig the factory color on my car. Makes the car look real low-key - almost like a Q-ship. Plus it's not a color you see very often - the majority of BMW's around here are silver (E36 and newer though).
I LOVE the look of this car in silver - especially with shadowline trim. Gives the car such a clean look, and all the little detail bits really stand out. Just seems like all the BMW's I see are silver (maybe because they look so damn sexy in silver).
Was wondering if anyone knew of a link with color charts for E30s, or if anybody knew how common a Delphin Gray car is.
