    Thanks

      Thanks.

Anyone know any stores that carry the VHT paint? I'd like to pick some up tomorrow. If not I'll order it.

Cool, thanks Jordan. I spend enough time in the harley shop already but another trip won't hurt me.

To anyone that knows: don't you have to heat painted part for the paint to set? Like, put it in the oven?

That's what's made me not want to krinkle mine. I don't have an extra valve cover or intake manifold.

But if I'm wrong, let me know!

                you dont have to.
i used a heat gun aimed at the underside to help speed the curing process.

I'll just set it out in the Texas heat. SHould be cured in about 10 minutes if it's as hot tomorrow as it was today.

UV curing is nice. I normally put said item in a cardboard box (keeps dust off too) with a small ceramic heater inside the box. Heats it up to HOT and keeps it that way.

                          Cool thanks.

What you guys think about coating a muffler with krinkle paint? Mine is so dull now, and the tip is rusted to hell. Been meaning to get something done about that..

i wanted to do mine but i was just going to use bbq paint. krinkle paint would look weird on a muffler i'd imagine.

Just read something about using a BBQ grille...no dust and really hot.
