Stuck glovebox

My glovebox decided that I no longer need to open it anymore today. It's not locked, at least I didn't lock it but it still won't open. I've heard that this is common, anyone have any solutions?

Hit it it works for me, or check if the hinges broke or the glove box shifted on them.

mine is broken. the lock thing breaks and the lock pieces break and u have to push the whole glove box to the riight or left while pulling down
