Howβs it going everyone! I know there are a bunch of Mtech 2 wheel posts already, but I feel like I should give credit due, if I had a nice experience with someone.
Having recently bought on eBay (I know right) what I later (upon delivery) found out to be a custom wrapped fake OMP wheel at a βbargain priceβ I was content to keep my basic oe 4 spoke wheel in my 1987 i converted e. I did however like the Mtech wheels but they were not high on my list because of price, and my 4 spoke is pretty well preserved.
Anyway, a bit over a week ago I saw an ad on the fb r3vlimited group for a couple different Mtech wheels, very nice looking re-wraps at what Iβd say below market prices. I contacted the guy, he said they were available, and heβd send me some more pics and a video. He also told me to check out his Instagram account Bavariansteeringwheels which I did. The wheel I was looking at was there, along with a bunch of other wheels and bmw parts. He was friendly and communicated very well, and told me shipping was gonna be about $110 DHL international added to the wheel cost. These guys are in Beirut, Lebanon, so I was a tad leery, but he did have a few great reviews on Facebook, the DHL tracking system is top notch, and his products looked awesome.
I bounced the potential new toy purchase off the wife and when she didnβt immediately say no, I ordered it after she went to sleep that night lol π The seller said 4-7 days, which I was way skeptical about, but patiently waited. I ordered and paid via PayPal on the 18 of this month and I received it today, January 23! 6 days, from order to in my hands!
These guys are legit, and they have lots of e30 goodies. Just wanted to post up and share what I found. Hats off to them for being honest and selling quality stuff. Here is the IG url https://instagram.com/bavariansteeri...d=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Here are some pics! Iβm not a wheel or re-wrap expert, but this looks great in and out the car, and itβs tight.
Thanks for looking!
Trey
