Sport seat question

Have a 92 318i vert. My sport seats have vertical lines/stitching. I see other sport seats with horizontal stitching.

What is the difference in these seats? On LSEAT.com one is for 87-93, while the other is listed for 84-91. Is there any actual difference in the seat? Can either seat cover be used for a sport seat?

There is no practical difference between those two. Vertical is for non-M & non-convertible cars, and convertibles/M3s had horizontal center stitching. Lots of bozos sell 'vert seats as M3 seats.

There may be some small actual differences between early model seats and late model seats, but the covers clearly interchange.
