    Glued on shift knob

So apparently the previous owner decided to use a little glue putting the shift knob on. ANy tips on how to cut it off, as I don't see any other possible options. Thanks

What kind of knob? If it is the stock leather one then I would take a hack saw and cut the top off. Then I would poke a screw driver around to try and loosen it. It may be easier to remove the whole lever so you dont have to work in an awkward position.

Are you sure you arent man enough to pull it off? Try sticking it in fourth gear and pull on it from the back seat.

    Good luck.

Steps to remove stuck shift knob

      Items required

      Hand
      Bandaids.

      1) Position left food in driver footwell, position right food in passenger foot well. open sunroof. grab shift knob with both hands. Pull with every bit of strength that you have. If your lucky, it will fly out of the sunroof without any issues. if you are like me, you will get it out, and nail you hand on the side of the sunroof (hence the bandaids)

as its glued..pull really fucking hard. it may even rip the shift lever out of the carrier bushing, which means short shifter time! :D
