Rear Shelf Removal? (Yes I searched)

I know this stuff is obvious, but I tend to break things that other, smarter people don't. What I see attached to the rear shelf is 2 speakers, 2 seat belt thingies, and a brake light. Which of these needs to come out prior to the shelf, and how do they come out? Then does the shelf just pop out? Where are the clips, hooks, or anchor points? Somebody give me a how-to using really short words.

    Thanks

I usually remove the back seat and unbolt the seat belts from under the seat bottom. Lift up on the shelf and run the seat belts through the holes while you have the shelf lifed un plug the speakers then just pull the shelf out.

First, remove the big thingies...yes, top and bottom.

The remove the belty thingies, then the light thingie.

      Now remove the shelf!

seat bottom -> seat top -> seat belt bottom mount brackets -> speakers -> shelf.

Should just come up once you have all that removed.

Thanks - I got it. It took me a bit to figure out that the speaker grills just lift out, then you unscrew the speaker housings. Also the third brake light release clips are a little weird.

How the hell do you remove the black plastic seat belt guides that are in the rear shelf?

I'm trying to remove my rear shelf so I can refurbish it, but I can't get it to lift up. I'm assuming I have to pull the seat belt guides out first.

The black wedgies slide either forward or aft about half an inch before they pop/tilt out.

just pull the black seatbelt covers, they will come out towards you. the middle of the shelf might be connected with a plastic clip.

other than that the entire shelf will pull towards you
