front seat question

Well I have a problem with my front drivers seat, the mechanicals don't work well, I guess you could say the frame is bad as the cables won't allow it to lean forward (its a 2dr) and I can't recline it at all. So I found a good drivers seat out of an 85 318i that I was hoping I could use. Anybody know if they will bolt up to an 88 325?

The poster right below you was having the opposite problem (newer seats in older car), and Kevin said sometime the carpet thickness can give you problems, but the bolt holes should be in the same place.
Remember, 4-door seats don't fold fwd like 2-door seats.
