Hello ricer JDM doriftoooo style seats! (pics!)

The hotness has a rrived, cheap ebay seats to replace my mismatched cloth seats which are falling apart. only 350$ to my doorstep (somewhere in there)

    the two of them together.

close up the ///RICE also gives a good idea of the material its made out of, with lots of bmw gaskets in the box behind (no i didn't put that zundfolge there, i swear it was there already :( )

    rear profile shot

all in all i'm impressed with the quality, i gotta get some custom brackets made before i can put em in, but so far they look like they'll be sweet.

How much do they weigh about? Post the name of the guy you bought them from on ebay. :D

are you making fun of them in a petty attempt to hide your joy over the purchase of said seats? Do the opinions of the angry rice-hating users of this board really dictate you like that?

You really have to get custom brackets made? Ask Matt325is how me mounted his.

                          Matt325is:

I had the brackets custom made at a welding shop. I painted them so they dont rust too. I already installed the brackets, but I will check to see if they hit the fuel lines. The brackets are 18" long. The front ones go in 1.5" from the sides, then 90' up 1", then over. The rear are flat. They are made of 1/4" flat bar mild steel.

it's my pitiful attempt at satire to bring joy to the hearts of many on this board.

i love everything about the seats. my only complaint is the ///M could be smaller or not exist. i'd rather buy these then spend 1500$ on sparco's or recaro's, a seat isn't that important to me

                              sure, later tonight.

also, the weight on the boxes says '50lbs' but i dont think its that much, i think they're just using a rounded up weight. i think they're around 35-40lbs.

i also have to get a seatbelt mountable area welded to the brackets i get made, otherwise i have to drill a hole and mount it to the seat which is supposedly not as safe.
