Ok, I alwasy get confused on this. How does the percentage work. Isn't it the lower the percentage, the darker the tint?

The limit here in Boise is 35%, and I think I'll probably do 45-50% all around. I want tint for function - and I still wanna see at night. ;)

% of light transmission, ie 50% lets through half the light of clear glass, 25% lets through 1/4 the light, etc.

Tint is done and looks great! I went with 20% and it was the right call. It is not as dark as I thought it would be, but dark enough.

In spite of my " trivial post", some of you guys were of help. I appreciate the ones of you who had positive input. That is what this forum is for, right?

              Pics will be coming soon.

                  5% is ridiculous...

I had it redone with 40% all around, definitely light...but to me it's just enough, and I like to see at night.

you can have sex in back with the 5 percent, though.

Found a readable site that tells you the %'s for your state laws.

I'm probably gonna go 20% in the back and 30% up front.

I'll probably end up doing the 20% myself. Might Do a tad lighter on the front windows, we'll see.

In my opinion, tint looks good on almost all cars, as long as the tint job is even front and rear (or just a subtle difference).

I'm not a huge fan when one tints the rears limo black, and front 35% or whatever. Then you get 3 totally different color tones of windows and it looks awkward.
