    glovebox woes

    Well it finally happened. the glovebox latch took a dive. I was able to keep my existing handle with the keyhole, but everything else is trashed. Is it possible to hook up the handle onto another glovebox so I don't have to use another key to open it?
    I retired my E30 for now...

    Yep, I had to do the same thing on mine. Get another handle and swap the lock cylinder. It's just held on with a snap ring.

      For me the part that broke was on hte otherr side of the handle so I snatched one out of an e28 and was good to go.
