    Black carpet

I searched, not very hard, but where can i get a new black carpet? I think that my freind spilled something in my car,and now it stinks. I also want to go for the black interior and get rid of the tan.

steam cleaning your carpetting inside the car would probably be an easier option...

replacing the carpetting is not fun... atleast it wasnt the last time i did it.

it can be done in less then a day.... unless you decide not cut the carpetting around the heater core. (carpetting runs around the heater core.. so to remove it "properly", you have to take out the dash, etc... )

i would list what is necessary to remove.. but its quite logical.

it is just an anoyance.... its also a heavy m-fer

                search scrap yards.
any kit a company sells will fit like crap.

carpet swap can be done in under 3 hours.

EDIT: I lied... mine is a dark Grey. Like Jay's.
                Dads M3 has black.

I dont have any pics of the dye job, but it looks great. I changed the seats, carpet, and door panels from tan to black. (also almost done dying the headliner black). The back seat has been done for about 6 months and I havent had any problems with chipping, scratching, etc. One of the front seats got scratched but it was very easy to touch up.

VHT is good stuff though. I tried the vinyl dye made by duplicolor and it is not near as good (scratches off the vinyl easily). I ended up using the dupicolor on the carpet though because it is half the price of VHT and it wont scratch off of the carpet.
