e30 m3 boot with e34 e brake handle?

Are there any other boots that have similar stiching, either aftermarket or BMW? I tried to use an e34 brake boot, but the overall shape was wrong.

Kind of weird question, but it's kind of related to the topic so I thought I'd ask.

Anybody know if later model parking brake assemblies have the same bolt pattern as an E30? Like the actual handle for the parking brake. I put an E46 console in my car and the E30 e-brake handle is just long enough that it hits the curved part of the console.

I was thinking of cutting the handle and jb welding it. I figure for something like an e-brake handle, it should be strong enough....hopefully, lol.

Opinions/advice?
