The convertible seats have horizontal lines while the coupe sport seats have vertical lines. xwill112x's seats look like recovered convertible seats.

Vert and M3's both have the horizontal stitching. The rest have vertical stitching.

Funny that you show those seats...

This photo has been lifted of an Ebay.de listing that I won.
The 2 seats did cost me 450 Euros, not cheap but they were, and still are mint !

See below them installed in my 325i Touring from 1991 :

i also got the same one but in Alpina cloth and the piping trim, in my Alpina B3 2.7 from 1988 :

Best seats ever on the E30, and they are OEM, there is a BMW plastic cover on the side covers. that was an option in Europe, but an expensive one i believe.

          Cheers from France

              Hi There,

yes they are height adjsutable by pushing down the seat back recline lever...

As requested, here are a few pics of the rear alpina seats, basically standard shape with Alpina clothing. Also 2 photos of the door cards ( front and back ) for good measure.

Please note that this is 100% genuine Alpina original items, my car has been built in Buchloe, in germany, in the alpina factory. it has an Alpina VIN plate.

              Cheers / Pierre

Why are they installed backwards and the recline function lever is against the transmission tunnel?

                    Well spotted !

I actually realised that after i installed the seats but didn't bother me.
I juste need to swap back the seat belt buckles on the other side and swap the seats.

operation is still ok for recline and height adjustment.

Will have to do it one day.

                    Cheers / Pierre

I have one backwards in my car as it's a non ripped passenger seat. I have a few of these as well, need to get one still reskinned.

Don't be, with a little work on the engine and handling, any 325i can be as good, but of course that won't be an Alpina...

I actually plan to start working more on the touring. I have a spare block, some 130mm rods and a 328 crankshaft, so it will becomne a M20B28 soon !

Also go some BBS RS 15" ready to fit...

                        Cheers / Pierre

it is just that the belt buckle was the other round, misleading me during installation.
Both seat are in mint condition !

Hope they will stay that way.

Personally I think the BMW built ones look better than the Recaro's.

Looks are one thing, comfort on the other hand is no comparison.
